Telatra Research was founded in 2001 by a group of committed professionals with extensive backgrounds in software development, technical management, quality assurance, and product marketing. The company represents the fusion of advanced scientific technologies with proven software development practices. 

The technical team at Telatra Research draws on an extensive professional background that includes not only artificial intelligence and emergent systems, but also the core technologies of enterprise systems like object-relational mapping, XML-based transformation, and highly transacted database interaction.  Telatra’s engineering acumen is combined with proven product marketing and rigorous quality assurance to create an efficient and reliable development process.  All of our key team members have prior experience in product development that reliably delivered feature-complete products on time.  We expect to continue that record of achievement at Telatra Research.

The genesis of our vision was over 15 years ago when one of our founders was exploring innovative information management technologies for the intelligence community.  Then, as now, one of the critical issues in the field was finding a way to manage the large volume of information that was being created daily and finding ways to convert that raw information into refined knowledge.  With the rise of the internet, the information management problem has now spread to consumers as well, and is so pervasive that many don't even acknowledge that it is a problem.  Not only do we acknowledge the information management problem, we believe we have developed a solution that can serve both the corporate and consumer markets.  Moreover, we feel our approach is substantially different from what others are attempting, and could even be employed to complement their technology. 

Beginning in 2002 we will be introducing products that realize that vision.
